Air Charity Network is a charitable organization that provides access for people in need who are seeking free air transportation to specialized health care facilities or distant destinations due to family, community, or national crisis. Air Charity Network serves all 50 states and its volunteer pilots utilize their own aircraft, fuel and time to provide free air transportation to medical facilities for citizens who are financially distressed or otherwise unable to travel on public transportation. As the owner of Gulf Coast Air Tours, I'm so proud to be a part of this awesome network..
When I have a day off from taking care of my guests, I'll help rescue dogs from kill shelters and fly them to non-kill shelters. The trips are usually throughout the Southeast picking up pups in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida then flying them to their new FURR-EVER homes somewhere. I'd take as many as I could for myself, and have personally adopted Dori from the Jr. Humane Society and Duke from the Northwest Florida Great Dane Rescue. If you want to help, send me an email and maybe you can ride in the co-pilot seat on the next trip and be an active part of making sure these pups enjoy a dog's life.
One of my pet projects is to fly as many humans and dogs to places where they can find comfort, care, and love. By channeling some of the proceeds from Gulf Coast Air Tours into aircraft fuel, I can help support Pilots N Paws and the Air Charity Network by volunteering my time and plane to help those who need. The more you fly, the more I can help.
